A causa del coronavirus in Kenya ci sono state difficoltà per il trasporto dei letti da Nairobi a Ichuni, a causa dei controlli. Ma sono riusciti ad ottenere i permessi dalle autorità per raggiungere l'ospedale.
A causa del distanziamento sociale anche il montaggio è stato lento perchè solo pochi operai hanno potuto lavorare, ma alla fine tutto è stato completato!
Mrs. Emmanualla, una infermiera, dice il suo GRAZIE! Ora nessun pazienza è più costretto a stare per terra!!!
Let me start by introducing myself. I am Mrs Emmanualla , I a nurse at the St. Catherine Ichuni Hospital, I mostly work in the clinic, wards and maternity in the hospital.
This project has been a blessing to us the workers and patient at the hospital. Before the realization of this project we used to experience hard times due to lack of adequate bed. It was very saddening to see a patient in critical condition sleeping on the floor or expectant mother delivering on the floor due to lack of adequate beds.
But through the realization of this project our work has been made effective and now there is no incidence of patients at the hospital sleeping on the floor .
